[IMPORTANT] How to properly report a problem player.

    What to do:

Go here and make sure you are loggedin.

Click the tab labeled "Ask A question".
Fill in Subject, Fill in Question.
Use choose file to attach any images you may have.
    Under Product choose Trove.
Under Category, click the arrow next to Trove Game support, click on Report a Player.

    Click Continue and follow instructions.

A post has also been made by Avaram that gives another method, it can be found here.

    What NOT to do.

Make a post on here, mentioning the name of the player. Or showing images that include the name of the player.
In fact, posting anything that may directly identify the player in question.

    What else can you do?

If you feel it's something important that players need to know. Such as a scamming method.
Post the method of the scam (such as quickly switching in/out similar looking items). But do not post anything that directly identifies any person in the process.

Why can't I identify the person publicly?

This is known as naming and shaming. And to put it simple, it's far too easy to make up an issue just to get someone in trouble on the forums when they actually have done nothing wrong. Or if there was possibly some sort of misunderstanding.

You will have any posts that 'name and shame' deleted. You can also get banned for doing this.

The most re-assuring big brother statement I've ever seen.

With valid proof how is it "making up up an issue just to get someone in trouble on the forums when they actually have done nothing wrong"?

THANK you for making this post. I see so many space-wasting posts about "This guy is a scammer" that violate the forum rules.

Yes, but those who wish to lie about others in game, and trick the game community in whole to mete out punishment for a personal grudge will hate me.

Besides I gave the proper way to report someone to Trion. As well as the proper way to warn people about scams. I don't see why any scammer would be happy about that.
