    [ONLINE] PS4 NA/EU Maintenance - Nov 22

    Hey PS4 Trovians,

    Incoming PS4 NA and PS4 EU maintenance coming on Nov. 22 starting at 8:00am PST / 16:00 UTC.

    Downtime is expected to take approximately 3 hours.

    Update 6:10pm PST:
    PS4 NA and EU are now coming online.
    Compensation for the duration of these downtimes will be assessed and announced within the next few days.

    Update Nov 24, 12:00pm PST:
    Since the maintenance, we have been working on some of the errors connecting to certain worlds being reported.

    A fix has been recently implemented that should allow players to connect better to worlds. We're continuing to monitor the situation, let us know if you are still being returned to the Hub.

    Significant compensation is being discussed for the recent extended maintenance and world connection issues. It will be announced in the next couple days.

    Update Transparency please

    Mobi, I am not one to complain too much, but can you explain the reason for the fourth bit of downtime this week? Lag and rubberband only seems worse since the event started.

    If the servers do have to be down for 3 hours can we maybe get more than 10coins as compensation? The downtime last week was way longer and only granted 10 coins.. The amount of coins and dragon fragments that can be earned in an hour on dragon day.....

    Anyway. Thank you for the heads up this time.

    PS4 NA and PS4 EU are coming offline now for maintenance, downtime is expected to be about 3 hours.

    I can try to explain a bit more about the recent maintenances and downtimes, but much of this is more technical platform changes and not like patch note gameplay changes. Last Friday (Nov 15) Xbox and PC got this patch for servers and also to help address the leaderboard rewards issue. The Xbox issue got resolved and PC leaderboard rewards partially resolved after this. That same Friday night and into Sat. (Nov 16), PS4 had unrelated and unexpected downtime which we worked on bringing online and provided compensation.

    Now for this week, on Tuesday (Nov 19) PS4 started similar maintenance as Xbox/PC before and PC had maintenance to help finish resolving the leaderboard rewards issue. Then for PC on Nov 20, the Store ran into an issue trying to display items, we tried to hot fix several ways and a 30 minute server restart was a part of that process.

    Now for today (Nov 22), we are making PS4 server changes/improvements and proactively fixing leaderboard issues that could have come up next week. Hopefully that issue does not come up on any platform, but again we are going to keep an eye on leaderboard rewards being properly granted. Compensation is still being discussed as this was short notice, but we wanted to get changes made as soon as we could before the weekend or next week.

    1 day notice lazy dev teams that can easily fix at 4am and have ready for us at 7am you should act more responsibly to us the players your bread and butter but no you do these fixes on our time so you can all sleep in shamefull

    Mobi, I know I am just one person, but this is amazing to see. Most of us trovians have no idea what goes on behind the scenes and the unknown can be frustrating. Letting us know what is going on can calm that wave of frustration imo.

    Based on the forums we just want to know what the plan is. Where trove is going. If you think about it from our perspective we haven't had much content since going green. So all of this downtime and maintenance is just putting more fuel on the fire even if it is necessary.

    Thank you for the information you have provided today. It really means a lot to hear from you and any other CM/Dev. It tells us you care.

    3 heures de maintenance = 3 défis en moins = 18 dragon coin et 18 dragon cache en moins. Donc potentiellement pas mal de dragons coins en moins, du flux... Sans compter que ça fait le 2eme vendredi que je veux farm les oeufs de l'ami et que je ne peux encore pas finir !
    Marre de vos lags, crash, maintenances..... ! :furieux:

    Downtime

    Come on trovians, the devs are really trying there best right now. There not like the old devs where they didn't care. Mobi is doing his best to help yall, and all yall are doing is attacking him consistently. He's even answering your questions and trying to keep chat clean from profanity cause kids play this game too. So grow up people and keep your mouth clean and let the devs do there jobs. Yeah I know it sucks,4th down time. But coding a game to perfection isn't easy when it's on a big server that's constantly being updated trying to get each code to play nicely with one another. Thank you devs for what your doing ^^
