    VFX question

If I don't edit the VFX/particle effects on a costume, will the devs alter the VFX to their liking instead should that costume end up being added to the game? Or would it all be added entirely as-is with no further alteration?

From what I remember (unless it changed within the past couple years), if they were to accept a costume, the VFX would not be used / they would create the VFX on their end. That is primarily due to the need for optimization and consistency on their end. I believe even my auras, which are purely VFX, had to be remade/altered manually on their end to be sure it matched their process/style.

Haven't played in a few years so if that is different now, my apologies.

No worries! Good to know then, it saves the effort on my end of having to mess with a bunch of these things.
