1. you can't right click gems on your character sheet to put them in the upgrading slot anymore. (right clicking gems from your inventory still works)
1b. you can't right click a gem in the upgrading slot to take it out of the upgrading slot anymore
1c. same goes for the gem forge
2. the crystal item's background is invisible in the character sheet. this is especially troublesome when the "hide face/hat" style is equipped.
