You know you can edit a post to add more content to it. Just makes it easier to consolidate. @MightyKingHoly But that's besides the point.

Meh I could play as a kitty, and my daughter would love it. so why not. I think a lot of the younger crowd may enjoy something like this, it is a family game after all.

Ah so you did not see a flaw in the gameplay or skills of that class, but it is about personal preferances of the appearance of this class suggestion.

Can you leave the appearance aside and give feedback only based about those skills?

Think about the appearance as something else you like and apply the skills I came up with.

Seeing as there would be objective opinions towards a cat-person type character, you could change it to a more neutral animal, like a bear (they're still adorable when sleeping). and instead of being an animal hominoid, like the lunar lancer, the model/animations could be a literal bear, on all fours. Styles would fit thematically, because circus bears are (usually) friendly and wear hat.
Just my thoughts on it, it would be really cool to have another animal-based class in the game though.
    Stalking is nice, indeed :3

Well, I did not think about Candy Barbarian. Actually I did totally forget that any class already had a jumping when inventing this. I was merely thinking about how a kitty would attack its prey.

This beeing said, there are 2 differences between CB and Kitty:
    1. Enemies hit while Kitty is still mid-air and haven't landed yet will recive a partial damage, too. But remember, that you want to land at your main target for most damage because of the landing damage impact buff.

    2. While CB's ability can be just straight-forward spammed, Kitties ability gives some serious benefits if you Jyamp into the back of an enemy. This is a very key point of the class. So you want to position yourself into a right angel and use your whole skill setup for the deadliest attacks.

    Mods make (almost) everything possible

    Definitelly :3

Yeah, I always wanted a Feline Class. For now, I have to stick to this.

    bump

With Gamigo's transition done, it is a good time to bump this class suggestion again.

    Cheers!

    Hi

I'd love a cat class too. Perhaps my QA Cat would suffice for now?

He's rather proud of himself recently, he was awarded employee of the month for May (no need for QA jokes, we've heard them all already :P )

Cute idea but everything gets 1 hit killed with most classes, having any abilities that slows that down won't be very popular.

If we get a real end game that required class to matter, having a stun class etc,
We don't need a new broken class b4 the 16 broken classes get fixed.

It's a great idea just wrong game...

Any cat owner will tell you that cats teleport too! This class suggestion sounds well thought out. Good luck in getting it implemented.

My only thought to change would be to teleport behind a mob instead of the jump, especially if already in stealth mode.

In Trove there is no targetting at all. In other games it is possible to 'teleport behind the target' because you can 'target' something to begin with.

Trove on the other side aims completelly manually:
-A SH that aims at an enemy does hit an enemy
-If a SH aims 3 blocks aside an enemy, then this shot will pass the enemy by 3 blocks

Just one example would be fallowing issue: What would happen if you use teleport while there are 5 enemies in front of you, facing in different directions because of other peoples?

    Solutions:

    1. One solution would be to add a targetting system to lock onto a specific enemy. You controll yourself where to teleport to, but this would also allow other classes to set enemies as a target. But for what purpose? Auto-Aiming Shadow Hunters? It would change how the game works entirely, so I can not recommend it.

    2. Kitty could just teleport to an enemy based on distance. For example Kitty could teleport to the 'closest enemy'. But what if a boss spawns chickens, clones or even a totem? What if there is another enemy closer behind you, which is closer, but which you do not want to attack? Well, we could limit that ability by only allowing kitty to teleport within a cone in the direction that the player is looking or which Kitty is facing. But in the end it is just to easy to simply get eaten by something random in the way. *cough cough Pinata Bossfight cough cough*. And in other situations this ability becomes too dull without actually requiring the player to have skill, because the auto-aim will do the job for you. So it will be unpredictable and not involve real player skill and it will be a pain to clear dungeons because almost each dungeon boss looooves to spawn 2 helpers at the beginning of a fight.

    3. Another solution is to somehow mark an enemy. Like teleporting behind the last enemy that you damaged. This would actually reward even a higher level of skill and much focus on how and what you are attacking and also when. While I kinda like that idea, I do fear though, that this might be an unnecessarily high skill requirement for players and could scare players away if they test this class and just failing deeply getting hits done. What do you think? Would this work as feature or would it be a nuisance?

    4. Sulution number four would be a Fae's clone clone (intended). This would not garantuee to let Kitty appear behind an enemy, since Kitty would just re-appear a specific number of blocks in front. Technically speaking, this is an easy solution, because you cna just copy-paste the Fae Clone ability and add damage in the end. But gameplay-wise it would be a big drawback, because you will steal something directly from another class almost 1:1. It would destroy Fae Teleport beeing an unique feature to one class and I honestly believe that each class should feel unique and not as rip-off from another.

    5. Other ideas? How would you actually implement this and what would its synergy be with other skills?
