    [Idea] Utility Emblems

I brought this up in [Discussion] Skill vs. Grind, but I feel like it deserves its own thread. So here's my idea.

I think there should be a third emblem slot, exclusively for 'Utility' emblems. Utility emblems are highly situational emblems, like an emblem that swaps your damage between magic and physical, emblems that aren't too useful in combat, like that lasermancy one, and emblems that have major tradeoffs that force you to adjust your playstyle when you drink a flask, like Berserker.

I feel like this change would really spice up Trove's combat, creating more interesting interactions and more situations in combat where a player would really have to think about when to use their flask to get the most out of it.

Making emblems like Berserker into Utility emblems will also make more players want to use them. Right now, Berserker is a pretty bad emblem, since it prevents you from using most of your abilities while also boosting a stat with a cap players can reach without it.

However, if it was a Utility emblem, usable with 2 regular emblems and with all its alternatives either not helping much in combat or having similar downsides, it would be a viable option.

This change would also serve to weaken the Death Defying meta(since timing really matters with Utility emblems that give meaningful benefits in combat), without harming players who may want to use the Vials if they're lagging heavily, cannot survive without them, or simply want the game to figure out the timing for them.

I agree we could use more utility emblems, like Mega Miner. Though I also believe we should get more emblems, and flasks, in general.

Forgive me if my interpretation of the word "utility" is too old school, but only one of these categories fit into that? (the underlined one)

You're right, but utility emblem was the only name I could think of that was at all close to the function. It's a lot more utility focused than regular emblems, where you're putting yourself at a disadvantage should you pick something without combat uses. Here, you're free to go farm dungeons with mega miner and you don't lose anything combat-wise.

Plus, with a category of emblems connected only by the fact that they either completely don't affect combat, mostly don't affect combat, or make the game tougher in exchange for their combat boosts, no better name really comes to mind.
