View Full Version : Comapnion Stats Bugged in Caves

The companions' additional stats don't seem to work in caves. The only stat that displays isthe max GAS/Exploration. This is proven by a max level companion lie in the screenshot, as both the +300 Max Explorations show, but nothing else does.

After the May 30th update, the stats are shown for companions in the Loadout menu, but they don't appear to actually have any effect. I've testing with the same above companion. Without it, I have 40 base movement speed, However, even when it's equipped and i'm out of the menu, I still have only 40 base movement speed, which leads me to believe that none of the stats are actually in effect.
Seeing as companions are such a big part of Geode, it should be of high priority to figure out what's going on here.


If anyone else has anything to add to this, I'd like to hear about it. ;)

Are you still having trouble with this? You mentioned May 30 update, but there was a patch today that addressed this. Seems to be working fine on my end, although, some of them are harder to test than others, like the percentile increases to stats you can't see.

Just did another followup test today, after the 2nd May 31st, and there's definitely something screwy going on. The Cooldowns and Energy costs seem to work opposite of how they should.

For example, with the Zepperay, it should reduce the cost of the rocket boots by -5%, allowing me to fly longer, right? So I timed it in the loadout room of the caves (T1), and without the Zepperay, I the boots lasted 20 seconds. With the Zepperay however, it only lasted 6 seconds!

Regarding the Pathpainter, the Froleek in the screenshot gives a -10% Painter Cooldown. However, when I tested it, without the companion, the painter recharged in 10 seconds. With the companion, it took a whopping 16 seconds to recharge, (cutting off at the point distplayed in the screenshot.)

Not sure how these could possibly be messed up this badly, tho the Movement Speed seems to work fine. :(

Thanks! Looks like there were a few math mistakes. We'll get these fixed.
