Gem doesn't improve as much as the other projectile classes.

Sorry if I don't understand what your animated chart is describing, but what exactly are you trying to say? Does VV help the Vanguardian too much? Not enough? Just right?

It looks like vg only recieves 4 more blocks range compared to other classes with VV equipped. His range is already pretty long from the looks of that image to begin with, how much does it increase his speed would be the question i'm looking for.

A joke mostly, how ludicrous his range is atm

A friend wanted to know how far the NN shuriken goes, you can hit things after it dies out on your own screen, but he told me it went the full length on his screen.
Used a pinata to confirm hits
yellow 49 (without VV), purple 70 (VV equiped), orange 61 (SH w/ VV)

Volatile Velocity is a universal Empowered Gem (http://trove.wikia.com/wiki/Empowered_Gem) ability that works with any class. This ability will increase the speed of any projectile attack/ability causing the attack to travel farther (does not increase attack speed but the rate it travels)

here's a side by side I did with it ON/OFF via observer

notice how it looks like it overtakes in speed, but still matches the pace.
right click, play speed, slow mo
right click, pause, then show controls, drag that progress bar around to go frame by frame

I'll double check when PTS comes back up, I got to snap some video before it went down.. standing at an arbitrary distance I fired a charged shot and measured from the shot animation to the hit animation (https://i.imgur.com/jJCTyzf.jpg). VV cut out 16 frames or 0.2667 seconds in that instance.

Well, at maximum distance (without VV), you can hit up to 0.9834s earlier with VV equiped...

( 92 distance / 179 frames ) * 60 frames = 30.8 blocks per second [no VV]
( 92 distance / 120 frames ) * 60 frames = 46 blocks per second [VV equiped]
perspective: an auto-run [101MS] NN is 10.1 blocks per second, can almost keep pace w/ it, if backflipping (vs 30.8bps) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jx9z6IevS28)
